Stan State offers master’s degrees in a variety of areas across its four colleges, many with practical workplace applications.
There’s also the opportunity to tailor your degree by combining 2 or more disciplines with the Interdisciplinary Studies option.
The College of the Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences prepares students to respond to the challenges and complexities of a changing world.
At master’s level it offers five degrees including a nationally recognized program in Public Administration.
The M.B.A. at Stan State is offered in flexible formats and is designed to equip working professionals with the leadership skills and business acumen to advance their careers. Stan State is accredited by the AACSB, putting it in an elite group of only 6% of top business schools worldwide.
The College of Education, Kinesiology & Social Work provides accredited programs dedicated to developing professionals for careers in the fields of teaching, physical education, health and wellness, and social work.

The campus itself is a leafy, park-like oasis with modern learning facilities interspersed with green spaces and lakes. At its heart is the University Student Center, a hub for on-campus dining, housing the university bookstore and student services, as well as study and conference spaces.
Stan State’s main campus is located in the town of Turlock in California’s Central Valley, offering a perfect blend of small-town charm, a safe, community atmosphere and big-city accessibility - not far from Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Bay area.
Students at Stan State can choose suite- and apartment-style units located in three on-campus residence village complexes. There are single or shared bedroom options, and each unit includes a bathroom and shower.
Shared community facilities include kitchens, games room, and the Village Café. Residents enjoy over 300 activities each year designed to build friendships and foster a strong sense of community.
Student meal plans provide access to the all-you-care-to-eat Main Dining venue, as well as credit that can be used at any of the on-campus eateries. These include the Red Wave Café, Warrior Grill and Starbucks.
