Role overview
The successful post holder will need to:
- Form strong, trusting relationships with students and staff at each location.
- Produce excellent media content across all schools within the Kings English division utilising a broad media toolkit including socials, video, graphic design, print and web.
- Create regular testimonials of both students and staff for use across all media channels.
- Regularly attend events both in and out of school to capture media as required.
- Work with the Marketing and Engagement Manager in developing both B2B and B2C content designed to increase enquiries/lead generation for the Kings English and Young Learners programmes
- Work closely and effectively with colleagues at both divisional and group services level to ensure best practice and optimised output.
Specific accountabilities
- Create strong and supportive relationships with students and staff at each school to enable on-going media production of school life
- Ensure every new student is professionally photographed with appropriate permissions in place.
- Manage all formal permissions from students and staff for all published content.
- Regularly attend school events including those within and outside school to capture relevant media content via video, socials and stills photography.
- Ensure school display boards and/or digital displays are regularly updated and meet brand guidelines as agreed with the Group Brand and Design Controller.
- Regularly liaise with other Media Content Producer/s to ensure sharing of ideas and best practice.
- Work with the Marketing and Engagement Manager in executing a quarterly B2B and B2C marketing plan in support of the division’s growth objectives and strategy creation.
- Work with the Group Brand and Design Controller to develop printed or digital media following supplied templates and agreed direction.
- Work with the Group Brand and Design Controller to ensure all material is produced in accordance with appropriate brand guidelines and quality expectations.
- Support the development of Kings English current student/alumni data resource to inform the production of relevant materials and digital marketing campaigns
- Provide media support for lead generation initiatives – e.g. regular newsletters, email campaigns, webinars, student follow-up, etc.
- Support the yearly publication plan for all relevant social media channels for Kings English, to guarantee a consistent output of high-quality content.
- Support in the delivery of market-specific B2B presentation tools required for key EFL markets/events
- Assist agents in updating their databases with Kings English school, course and accommodation information
- Support as required in maintaining accurate school and course profiles on online agents’ websites, including providing agents with photos for their galleries and video embed.
Key Performance Indicators
- Timely and accurate delivery of all required media content.
- Increase user engagements across all the Kings English social media channels by a pre-agreed target annually.
- Increase the bank of Kings English current and alumni testimonials to a pre-agreed target annually.
- Excellent feedback from colleagues as to the professionalism of the service provided.
Professional Experience
- Excellent skills in video and still photography
- Strong skills in social media production and use of tracking tools/analytics
- Effective use of graphic design platforms (InDesign)
- Experience with video production and editing software
- Experience in using website content management systems
- Familiarity with and/or experience working in the international education sector
Personal Attributes
- A university graduate or NVQ/BTEC sales/marketing qualification
- Very strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to form trusted connections with a variety of people from different backgrounds and cultures
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills
- Hard working, enthusiastic, eager to learn and develop
- English to bilingual/native level. Additional languages desirable.
