The New York State Advantage

Choice

The State University of New York is the largest and most comprehensive state university system in the USA. It offers a fantastic breadth of opportunity with over 400,000 students enrolled on undergraduate programs across 64 campuses.

Location

New York State offers the ideal location for international students. Of course, there is easy access to one of the world’s great cities — New York — and great transport connections. Yet this is also a beautiful region of mountains, lakes, forests, and coastline. What’s more, it is just a short trip over the border to Toronto in Canada.

Economy

As one of the world’s financial and business powerhouses, New York is the place to be for anyone aspiring to success in an international career in business, science, law, or the arts. The SUNY system has close links with many of the best companies located here.

Progression

The On Campus Plus program ensures that international students acclimatize to the USA university system while attending the same classes as their American fellow students. Kings staff are on hand to counsel students on their study plan in their Year 1 and advise students on next steps, i.e. what they want to study from their Sophomore Year onwards.
