Kings students at Downside School will benefit from newly refurbished accommodation within the International Study Centre.
There are separate facilities for boys and girls, with shared bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and a common room. Both boys and girls houses are under the supervision of a dedicated "house parent". Wifi is available throughout the boarding houses.
Most meals are taken each day together with the Downside School students in the School Refectory.
During their time in the UK, it is important that students develop both inside and outside the classroom. With Kings at Downside, students will have access to a host of activities, sports and excursions – some of which will be alongside full-time students at the School.
Students will be able to participate fully in specific music and sports teams if they start as a full-time student at Downside School.
There are also a broad range of planned excursions to local places of interest, and to cities such as London and Bristol. Students from both the ISC and the main School are welcome to join these trips and visits. As such, the excursions provide a great opportunity for ISC students to meet and form friendships with regular Downside School students while they explore other parts of the UK. In term 1, ISC students can also join a half-term outward bound activity with other Kings students.
